Steve, I am involved with a non-sectarian, Christian foundation that has a goal to build 25 medical clinics and ultimately a fully equipped modern hospital in Haiti. We are in the process of setting up 5 clinics by the end of this year. We have been given x-ray and ultrasound equipment but are having great difficulty getting them set-up and functioning in Haiti. We have employed a Haitian national to coordinate our construction efforts and we hope to train him as a bio-med technician. (He is a pastor trained in tool and die making and mechanical engineering). He coordinated the reconstruction of a number of churches after the last hurricane. Any thoughts or counsel you may have for us will be greatly appreciated.
